Our Story

We're neighbors, healers, teachers, and guides. Each practitioner in our collective brings years of training and a genuine passion for their craft.

Whether that's the precision of naturopathic medicine, the intuitive touch of massage, or the grounding flow of a yoga class. What unites us is a shared commitment to whole-person wellness and a deep love for this little mountain town we call home.

Sisters Wellness Collective was founded by Dr. Sarah Schantz, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, with a vision to build something the Sisters community had long needed: a true wellness hub where people could find the right support, all in one place.

  • My name is Kenya Kennedy. I am a deeply passionate Licensed Rehabilitative Massage Therapist. My core mission is to help people move through and beyond their physical limitations, utilizing targeted bodywork designed for recovery.

I specialize in treating acute injuries and supporting patients through post surgical recovery as well as chronic pain. My deepest expertise lies in addressing dysfunction of the cervical spine, the complex issues surrounding TMJ and the debilitating impact of migraines. My approach is built on two key pillars : genuine care and a clinical lens. It is paramount that everyone who walks through my door feels profoundly safe and comfortable with me. I recognize that healing is holistic. Therefore, I look at your overall health and the balance of your nervous system to fully understand. how your body is responding to the pain and how it can most effectively recover.

My approach to bodywork is rooted in a deep personal understanding of what it means to heal. Having navigated my own recovery from traumatic physical injuries , I know first hand that the path back to wellness is rarely a straight line.  This experience changed the way I see my clients. I don't just see a physical symptom, I see the resilience it takes to overcome it. My own recovery has become the foundation of my empathy, allowing me to meet my clients exactly where they are with patience, presence and a genuine understanding of the recovery process.

The patients who thrive under my care are those that understand that true rehabilitation is a process and not a quick fix. I love working with clients who are motivated to understand their own body and who want to be mindfully involved in their care , understanding that I am here to lift them up and support them through their healing journey.

My practice operates on self pay and does not accept conventional health insurance. However I am equipped to accept car insurance for clients with active claims.

Outside of my professional life, Im a firm believer in the beauty of the quiet moments. You'll often find me with a book in one hand and a hot cup of coffee in the other, likely with my dogs nearby and my family close at hand. My friends jokingly call me the grandma of the group, a title I wear with pride. Im easily content, whether Im mid project on a craft, tending my plants or playing with new recipes and baking sweet creations. For me, life is best lived in tune with the world around us, finding joy in the simple, handmade and homegrown.
