About me:

Tracy Erfling, ND, grew up in Boulder, Colorado and moved to Oregon to attend Willamette University in Salem and then the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland. She launched her first naturopathic practice in Astoria, Oregon, between 2001 and 2021, where women moving through menopause were the heart of her practice. She also worked at Clatsop County Public Health as the reproductive health provider until 2024. These two positions solidified her knowledge and passion for women’s hormonal and reproductive health. Sisters Women's Health is Dr. Tracy's latest venture in health care, where management of perimenopause and menopause is her focus. She offers a personalized, collaborative approach where patient-centered care is the cornerstone of her naturopathic health care model. Central Oregon attracted me soon after my move to the Willamette Valley in 1991.

I appreciate the distinct seasons, the sun, the altitude and generally amazing outdoor opportunities...reminds me very much of my home town Boulder, CO. I love to walk/hike with my dogs in the woods, ski in the winter, I am a swimmer and make trips to Juniper pool in Bend a number of times a week. I appreciate cooking, sewing, home design, puzzles, caring for plants and am hoping to try my hand at mosaic work this year. I am also enjoying learning about the birds of Central Oregon as there are many that visit my backyard. I have done yoga for years and have a regular yoga Nidra practice. I have had the great fortune to do a number of volunteer and board positions, mostly in Astoria and look forward to filling that niche in Sisters too. I love small towns and between Astoria and Sisters have appreciated the generous communities I have found in both places. I have been married for 25 years, have a 21-year-old son, 2 dogs and an amazing traveling cat.

As a naturopathic physician, I believe in treating the whole person with the least invasive, most natural methods possible.

What services do you offer?

I offer Naturopathic medical care for women experiencing hormonal health concerns. Upon visiting the website women can book an initial consult. This 30 minute visit allows them to lay out their concerns and health care goals to see if they align with my experience and skills. If we choose to move forward together, next step is a 60-90 minute complete new patient appointment where a thorough review of health concerns and medical history is obtained. If indicated testing may be recommended. Testing options could include routine blood testing, salivary hormone testing, or micronutrient testing, to name a few. Treatments vary depending on the individual but often include dietary suggestion or supplementation, herbal medicine, bio-identical hormones as well as lifestyle suggestions/modifications.

Who is a good fit for my services?

My focus is on women experiencing hormonal changes surrounding perimenopause and menopause. There is A LOT of information on my website about symptoms and common concerns for women in this phase of life...feel free to draw from ANY of that.

Who is NOT a good fit for my services?

Men and children are not a good fit. Women's care only. I am not a primary care provider. Sisters Women's Health is a cash-only practice and does not bill insurance but can make self-submitting possible for patients who want to try billing on their own.

What to expect when working with me:

I offer collaborative naturopathic care. This means there is direction on my part as the physician, but input from you, the patient, is critical in decision-making. Typical visit is conversational. Together, we will work to understand your health care goals, keeping in mind the layers of your current and past medical history as well as incorporating testing as needed. A treatment plan will develop as the visits progress and will be built, changed, and adapt with you as your health changes.
