About me:
Hi, I'm Matt Faldmo, a Certified Rolfer, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner & sound therapist. I've spent over a decade exploring how the body holds tension, pain, and old patterns, and how it lets them go. For six years I served as lead instructor for a national tuning fork training program, teaching practitioners around the world how to work with therapeutic vibration. That journey led me to create The Sonic Somatic Method™, a vibration-based somatic modality that integrates tuning fork vibration with hands-on fascial bodywork, grounded in nervous system science.
When I'm not in the office you'll find me paddle-boarding on a quiet lake, riding my mountain bike on local trails, hiking, sailing with my family, or playing handpan and singing bowls somewhere in Central Oregon.
What services do you offer?
Rolfing® Structural Integration — Hands-on fascial bodywork that reorganizes the body's structure, improves posture, and relieves chronic tension and pain. 75 minutes.
Sonic Somatic Method™ Sessions — Therapeutic tuning fork vibration applied directly to bone, fascia, and tissue, combined with hands-on bodywork, to help the nervous system reconnect with the body. 75 minutes.
Biofield Tuning Sessions — Gentle sound work using tuning forks in the field around the body to support nervous system regulation. 60 minutes.
Nutritional Therapy Consultation — Personalized, foundational nutrition support to address the root causes of fatigue, digestive issues, and chronic imbalance, helping the body heal from the inside out.
Who Is a Good Fit
This work is for you if you're dealing with chronic pain or tension that hasn't responded to other approaches, recovering from surgery or injury, feeling disconnected from your body, navigating chronic stress, or simply curious about what your body has been trying to tell you. Athletes who want to maximize body mechanics, desk workers who want to find better posture, and anyone whose body has been holding patterns for years tend to respond beautifully.
Who Is Not a Good Fit
This work is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or emergency treatment. If you have an active infection, fever, recent acute injury requiring medical attention, or unmanaged serious health conditions, please consult your physician first. I'm happy to coordinate with your healthcare providers when appropriate.
What to expect when working with me:
Every session begins with a conversation about your goals and what your body has been experiencing. We'll do a brief movement and postural assessment, then move to the table. Sessions may include hands-on fascial work, tuning forks applied directly to the body, and guided awareness prompts that invite you to participate in your own reconnection. Most clients leave feeling grounded, lighter, and more at home in their body. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
