Alexis Mutchler
About me:
Two decades of studying contemporary dance propelled Alexis’s passion for movement and transitioned her into massage therapy. Graduating from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2005, she became a certified LMT specializing in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and cupping. For the past 15 years Alexis has honed her craft and built her practice in Oregon. During that time, she danced with Portland’s Own - Polaris Dance Theatre. After which she took to the seas working as a wellness specialist for National Geographic Linblad Expeditions, performing massage therapy and teaching yoga. Alexis is an empath and uses her skills to heal. Her intuitive touch puts you in a deep state of relaxation, releasing muscle tension and finding balance in the mind and body. She can treat chronic pain, injuries, or aid in keeping one’s body in peak performance. Her practice, now located in the Sisters Wellness Collective, allows her to bring expertise to clients all over Central Oregon.
“ My passion is movement.
Be it through dance, bodywork, or yoga practice ~ it’s where I find strength.”
What services do you offer?
Alexis specializes in ashiatsu, deep tissue, swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, ashi-thai, and cupping therapy. These massage sessions are tailored to each clients specific needs. Ashiatsu massage, Alexis’s primary modality, is a technique where the therapist uses body weight and their feet to create a deep, compressive, broad pressure. This improves postural alignment, reduces muscle tension, and sends you into a deep state of relaxation.
