Kenya Kennedy, LMT
About me:
Kenya Kennedy is a Licensed Rehabilitative Massage Therapist based in Sisters, Oregon, a small mountain town nestled in the heart of Central Oregon's high desert. Surrounded by ponderosa pines, fresh air, and the kind of pace that invites intentional living, it is exactly the right backdrop for the work she does. Kenya brings both clinical precision and genuine warmth to every session, rooted in a core belief that healing is not just physical but deeply personal.
Her path to this work was shaped by her own experience navigating recovery from traumatic physical injury. That journey gave her something no textbook could: a firsthand understanding of what it feels like when your body is not cooperating, when progress is slow, and when you need someone in your corner who truly gets it. That lived experience is the foundation of her empathy and the lens through which she meets every client. Outside the treatment room, Kenya is the self-described "grandma of the group," most at home with a book, a hot cup of coffee, her dogs, and her family nearby. She tends plants, bakes, crafts, and believes life is best lived close to the simple and handmade. That groundedness carries directly into her practice.

What services do you offer?
Kenya's work is not your typical massage. Her practice is entirely focused on results-oriented recovery, meaning sessions are built around your specific areas of concern rather than a general full-body relaxation experience. She specializes in treating acute injuries, supporting post-surgical recovery, and addressing chronic pain, with particular depth of expertise in cervical spine dysfunction, TMJ disorders, and migraines.
Sessions are available in four formats to suit different stages of care and scheduling needs:
30-minute session ($70) for targeted, focused work on a single area
45-minute treatment ($100) for a bit more scope within a concentrated focus
60-minute custom session ($140) for results-oriented recovery tailored to your needs
Advanced 60-minute clinical treatment ($200) for complex or multi-layered presentations requiring a higher level of clinical intervention
All sessions are by appointment, Tuesday through Saturday, at her location at 392 East Main Ave in Sisters.

Who Is a Good Fit
Kenya's ideal clients are people who are ready to be active participants in their own healing. If you understand that true rehabilitation is a process and not a one-and-done fix, you will thrive here. She loves working with clients who are curious about their own bodies, willing to stay engaged between sessions, and looking for a practitioner who will meet them with patience and genuine care rather than a cookie-cutter protocol. Whether you are recovering from surgery, managing a long-standing condition, or trying to get your neck and jaw pain under control, Kenya is a strong fit if you are motivated and in it for the long game.
Who Is Not a Good Fit
Kenya's practice is not the right fit for everyone, and she believes that is worth naming clearly so you can find the care that actually serves you. If you are primarily looking for a relaxation or spa-style massage, her clinical focus is likely not what you are after. Her sessions are targeted and medically oriented rather than full-body wellness experiences.
Importantly, Kenya's practice operates on a self-pay model and does not accept conventional health insurance. If insurance coverage is essential for your care, this may not be the right fit. The one exception: she is equipped to work with clients who have active car insurance claims, so if you are navigating a car accident recovery, that coverage can be used.
What to expect when working with me:
From your first session, you can expect to feel genuinely seen. Kenya takes time to understand not just your physical symptoms but your overall health picture, including how your nervous system is responding to pain and stress. She approaches each client through both a clinical lens and a human one, which means she is not just treating a tight muscle or a misaligned structure. She is looking at the bigger picture of how your body got here and what it needs to recover well.
Sessions are focused, intentional, and tailored to your specific concerns. You will not be handed a generic routine. You will be met with presence, patience, and a practitioner who has walked a recovery road herself and knows exactly what it takes to stay committed to the process. Healing with Kenya is a partnership, and she will show up fully for her half of it.
