About me:

Hi, I'm Sarah and I am the proud founder of Sisters Wellness Collective! Specializing in lymphatic care, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT) with an additional certification through the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). Additionally, my hands-on approach to physical therapy and therapeutic bodywork helps clients heal complex areas such as the shoulder and hip joints. Serving the Central Oregon and Sisters community with compassionate, professional healing is my passion. To this end, I founded Sisters Wellness Collective, where highly experienced professionals in the healing arts serve the community with physical and lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, and other modalities. Clients seek out our welcoming environment and exceptional level of care.I received my initial certification as a Lymphedema Therapist through Klose training. Studying with Guenter Klose and his colleagues, learning the methods and techniques associated with the world-renowned Foeldi Clinic Center for Lymphology, was profoundly educational on all levels. Traveling to Germany, I welcomed the chance to experience the Foeldi environment.

My education continued with the Lymphology Association of North America certification. LANA provides certification for therapists who show the highest levels of expertise and care. To become a LANA Certified Lymphedema Specialist, I completed a rigorous training program and demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of lymphatic therapy.

Ongoing professional development and commitment to studying new developments in the field are part of my LANA certification. As a “research nerd,” I love delving into new healing techniques, studies on pathologies and therapies, and clinician discussions. Staying updated and engaged helps me improve the health and wellness of my clients.

Opening our Sun Ranch location has been a dream of mine and building it with my Dad and Millie (my dog) is something I will forever be grateful for.

Living and working in the Sisters, Oregon area, I’m fortunate to have access to nature, outdoor activities, and gardening. I spend time outside as much as possible, playing in or near water. I love warm sunshine, poetry, and my dog Millie.

With an undergraduate background in film photography, 35mm and medium format, along with acrylics, I enjoy creating environments and works of beauty that inspire health and wellness. Studying health and creative art, I graduated from Pitzer College in 2005 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. When I was young, you could usually find me either in a pool or the Pacific Ocean. The wave-like movements of manual lymphatic drainage therapy are second nature to the rhythms of water.

My work is to empower and support you in caring for yourself! I look forward to meeting you.

What services do you offer?

Lymphatic massage for people seeking to improve overall wellness and health

Lymphatic massage supports relaxation and relieves stress. Patients also seek out this modality to provide more efficient healing from illness, injury, or surgery. An extremely effective way to stimulate your body’s immune system, the practice stimulates lymphatic flow, which moves systemic toxins and metabolic waste out of the body. Lymphatic massage reduces swelling, removes excess fluid in the body’s tissues, and provides relief from water retention. Additional techniques break up areas of restriction and increase mobility and circulation. As a bonus, it increases natural production of endorphins, the body’s natural pain relievers! Clients often experience improved skin quality and a more vibrant appearance. Lymphatic therapies may also reduce scar formation by boosting the body’s healing responses. Treatment may include:

  • Lymphatic drainage

  • Myofascial work

  • Trigger point release

  • Use of lotions and oils is beneficial for the integumentary system (skin), which supports the lymphatic system

Complete Decongestive Therapy
for lymphedema & post-operative care

Complete decongestive therapy (CDT) is considered the best global treatment for lymphedema and impairments of the lymphatic system. The program combines a range of approaches, including manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), exercise, self-care, bandaging, and compression garment fitting.

Manual lymphatic drainage is a hands-on and extremely effective way to stimulate the body’s immune system, speed up healing time after surgery/injury, reduce swelling, and improve range of motion of the joints. Plus it can help your body produce natural, pain-relieving endorphins!

In combination with the other modalities of decongestive therapy, manual lymphatic drainage stimulates healing and improves comfort, function, and overall wellness.

Treatments may include:

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

  • Specific exercise

  • Self-care

  • Bandaging

  • Compression garment fitting

What to expect when working with me:

To get the most from your lymphatic therapy session, arrive well hydrated, avoid alcohol, heavy meals, and lotions, and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Supporting your body’s natural detoxification through hydration, gentle nutrition, and rest helps enhance treatment benefits.
During your session, expect light, rhythmic touch focused on key lymphatic areas such as the neck, abdomen, and hips. The work is gentle and deeply calming, designed to encourage lymph flow, reduce congestion, and support your immune system—not a traditional massage.

After treatment, plan for gentle movement followed by rest. Temporary sensations such as fatigue, thirst, or mild soreness are normal signs of detoxification and healing. In the days following, many clients report feeling lighter, more relaxed, and energized, with reduced swelling, pain, and tension. Consistent sessions can offer cumulative, long-term benefits.
