together, we’ll move through a curated flight of hydrosols from my botanical library, experiencing each plant through scent and sensation. with each hydrosol, there will be time to notice your own response before we explore the plant, its traditional uses, and ways of working with it.

rather than beginning with what is this plant supposed to do? we’ll begin with:

what do i notice?
what shifts?
what is my body communicating?

through this process, we’ll explore another way of knowing plants—one that makes room for both what we can learn about them and what we experience for ourselves.

hydrosols offer a gentle pathway into this kind of listening. through aroma, sensation, and attention, we’ll explore the possibility that our own experience carries wisdom—and that perhaps we can trust what we notice.

throughout the evening, we’ll share hawaiian ʻawa (kava) + nourishing seasonal snacks.

whether you’re completely new to plants or have been in relationship with them for years, you’re welcome here. there is nothing you need to know or prepare for.

questions + reflections are welcome along the way. there is nothing to get right, only your own experience to notice.
